ROLEC is proud to announce that it has received ATEX certification for its comprehensive programme of aluminium and glass filled polyester Ex enclosures - the aluKOM-Ex, polyTOP-Ex, and polyKOM-Ex lines.
The robust aluKOM-Ex enclosures are IP66 aluminium enclosures ideal for explosive environments. Available in a large range of industry standard sizes, these enclosures feature steel earth connections on the outside. Accessories for the aluKOM-Ex range include internal and external hinges, external mounting brackets, and internal mounting plates.
The weather resistant polyTOP-Ex range is IP65 rated. Manufactured from glass fibre reinforced duro-plastic polyester, these enclosures are corrosion proof as all metal inserts are manufactured from stainless steal. Available in a wide range of sizes, the polyTOP-Ex range has an option on lid fixings from standard slot head screws to allen head screws.
The polyKOM-Ex enclosures feature an ingress protection of IP66, are weather resistant, corrosion proof and ideal for industrial applications. The metal inserts and lid fixings are manufactured from stainless steel, with the main body of the enclosures being manufactured from glass fibre reinforced duro-plastic polyester, ensuring their durability.
The polyKOM-Ex enclosures are available in a wide variety of sizes ranging from 80x75x55mm up to the largest at 400x405x165mm. These enclosures are supplied with standard cross head lid fixings, which can be replaced with allen head screws if required.
These enclosures can be fully customised with holes and cut-outs, silk-screen printing, painting in other colours, fitting of cable glands and much more, to provide a bespoke solution to the design engineer.
