ROLEC has extended its aluFACE series of aluminium enclosures, which have been designed for housing electrical control equipment. Typical applications will include machine and process control equipment, safety systems, measurement and testing equipment etc.
aluFACE
electronic enclosures consist of a diecast aluminium base section, an open frame lid and an anodised aluminium control panel, which is secured by fixings inside the lid. The control panel can be fitted with push-button switches, membrane keypads and display units.
Five different styles are offered: KE, KSE, KCE, KVE and KVF. These have different types of open frame lid, and are also available with or without a hinged base section and keylock in the side.
Over sixty standard models are offered with external dimensions from 120 x 120 x 80 mm to 640 x 320 x 153 mm. The cases are powder painted in light grey, RAL 7035 and window grey, RAL 7040. A wide variety of alternative colours and finishes can also be supplied on demand to suit different applications.
All models have a high protection class from IP65 to IP66.
M6 threaded screw bosses are provided on the inside of the base section for mounting
assemblies, terminal rails, or PCBs. Accessories include external mounting brackets, mounting plates, and cable glands.
