ROLEC have announced their polyDOOR range of enclosures. These tough housings are based on their popular polyTOP range, but with the addition of a robust hinged door, with or without a transparent window, which makes them ideal for wall mounted equipment.
Typical applications will include electronics or electrical equipment where frequent access for servicing or adjustment is required i.e. marine electronics, industrial processing, machine control or safety monitoring.
Available in eight sizes ranging from 140x120x100mm to 320x200x120mm, the polyDOOR polyester enclosures are designed for harsh indoor or outdoor environments.
The standard material is flame retardant glass reinforced polyester rated to UL 94 V-0. Corrosion proof door fixings are included, as are stainless steel internal M6 mounting bushes. Two spring loaded hinges allow the door to be removed for total access.
The standard ingress protection is IP66, but on request, ROLEC can increase this to IP67 by using a special gasket.
The cases are fully insulated and can be fitted with terminal mounting rails. Other accessories include external wall brackets and internal mounting plates, as well as optional door fixings screws, which include triangular or square collar heads, captive allen and slotted type screws.
ROLEC offer customised enclosures based on this range, with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing, assembly of cable glands and terminals and much more, thus providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting all the components. |
