ROLEC has introduced its polyKOM series of polyester enclosures. These universal enclosures are suitable for housing a very wide range of electrical equipment, especially for outdoor use.
Typical applications will include machine and process control equipment, outdoor switch boxes, terminal boxes and marine safety equipment etc.
The electrical enclosures are manufactured from glass reinforced duro-plastic polyester (UL 94 V-0) - halogen free. All models are fully insulated to VDE 0100. The standard colour is silver grey, RAL 7001.
The range consists of fourteen industry standard sizes with external dimensions from 80 x 75 x 55 mm to 600 x 250 x 120 mm. The lid is secured to the base with captured corrosion proof stainless steel fixing screws.
All models are rated to IP66 protection class. High temperature gaskets up to 140°C, can also be provided.
These versatile enclosures can be easily modified with mounting holes for cable glands, interconnections, switches and display units. M4 and M6 threaded screw bosses are provided on the inside of the lid and base for mounting assemblies, terminal rails, or PCBs.
Accessories include external mounting brackets, mounting plates, lid hinges, DIN-Rails and cable glands.
ROLEC offer customised enclosures based on this range, with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing, assembly of cable glands and terminals and much more, thus providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting all the components. |
