polyDOOR enclosures with hinged lid

ROLEC have introduced their new polyDOOR range of enclosures. Based on their popular polyTOP range, these new enclosures include a robust hinged lid, with or without a transparent window, which makes them ideal for wall mounted equipment. They are especially suited to electronics or electrical applications where frequent access for servicing or adjustment is required i.e. industrial processing, machine control or safety monitoring.

Available in eight sizes ranging from 140x120x100mm to 320x200x120mm, polyDOOR cases are manufactured from glass reinforced duro-plastic polyester (UL 94 V0) which is suitable for harsher industrial use. Corrosion proof lids fixings are included, as are stainless steel internal M6 mounting bushes. Two spring loaded hinges allow the lid to be removed for even more access.

The standard ingress protection is IP66, this can be increased to IP67 with a special gasket on demand.

The cases are fully insulated and can be fitted with terminal mounting rails. Other accessories include external wall brackets and internal mounting plates, as well as optional lid fixings screws, which include triangular or square collar heads, captive allen and slotted type screws.

These enclosures can be fully customised with holes and cut-outs, silk-screen printing, and much more, to provide a fully finished housing ready for mounting the components.
