aluCASE ENCLOSURES WITH HINGED LIDS

ROLEC's die-cast aluminium aluCASE range has been extended with new models which have hinged lids. Typical applications will include electronics and electrical control equipment which require access for calibration, data acquisition or servicing.

Unlike other enclosures on the market, the new aluCASE models have been designed with hinge assemblies that fully integrate into the design of the enclosure. Whereas other enclosures have hinges simply bolted onto the side walls, the aluCASE hinges are discreet extensions of the main profile of the case. As a result a very modern and professional look is achieved.

The aluCASE series is available in fourteen individual sizes from 90x120x60mm to 170x280x90mm and is powder painted grey RAL 7040. All sizes can be specified with hinged lids. Access to the hinges and lid fixing screws is via two clip-on trims. A key lock can also be employed for extra security.

These robust IP 67 aluminium enclosures have been designed for harsh environments, and have captured rust free stainless steel fixing screws. All models include an earth point and threaded screw pillars in the lid and base for mounting PCBs, chassis, displays, DIN-rails etc. The modern design also features a recessed area in the lid for mounting a membrane keypad. Prices start from Ł17.

ROLEC offers a full customising service on these enclosures with CNC milling, drilling, silk-screen printing, assembly of cable glands and terminals and much more, providing a fully finished housing ready for fitting the components.
