 Chemical Resistance of Enclosure Materials

 When testing enclosures against chemical substances it is important to include the sealing gasket as well.
 The table below contains general information concerning chemical resistance of both enclosure and gasket masterials.
 The concentration and surrounding temperature must also be taken into consideration.
 Should several chemicals come into affect, a detailed test should be carried out in order to establish the chemical resistance
 of the material in this specific application.
 For critical applications independant test should be carried out for certification.
