ROLEC’s aluminium handCASE now offers four variants

ROLEC’s handCASE metal enclosures for handheld industrial electronics are now available in four variants.
High performance handCASE is designed for mobile control applications in challenging environments. These diecast aluminium cases are light and comfortable to hold for long periods but tough enough to withstand extreme working conditions.
Two base versions are available: one closed for external power supply; the other with an ABS battery compartment (4 x AA or 2 x 9V). Each base can be specified with a choice of two lids, both recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label. There are threaded screw bosses in the base and lid for the installation of PCBs.
Robust handCASE is manufactured from diecast aluminium for the ideal balance of strength and lightness. It is rated IP 66 as standard. IP 67 ingress protection is optional. The enclosures are available in three sizes – 180 x 80 x 42.4 mm, 220 x 100 x 42.4 mm and 220 x 100 x 62.4 mm – with silver metallic lids and black (RAL 9005) bases as standard. Accessories include: a holding clip (which can be used with a strap); a wall bracket for clip fastening; a carrying strap with protector; cable glands.
ROLEC can supply handCASE fully customised ready for the installation of PCBs. Services include CNC machining, custom colours and materials, printing, engraving, EMC shielding, membrane keypads and full assembly.
