We are a medium-sized family company, managing our global business from our German headquarters in Rinteln an der Weser. Our team of around 130 employees delivers pioneering new developments, superb product quality and excellent customer service..

One of our particular strengths is customising our enclosures so they are fully ready for customer installations. Using our state-of-the-art CNC machining equipment we manufacture enclosures to our customers’ precise specifications. We can deliver finished products at short notice and just-in-time.

All of our products are centrally stocked and are available for fast delivery in the UK and Ireland. Samples are available on a sale-or-return basis to help with your evaluation. That’s standard service from ROLEC.

Sustainability

As a family company, now in its second generation, we of course reflect upon the future. We would like to leave our children and grandchildren with an ecology, economic situation and social fabric that is as sustainable as possible. We are of the opinion that one cannot be had without the other. That is why at ROLEC we place environmental perspectives on the same level as social and economic ones. As a result, we constantly ask ourselves what we can do, as a manufacturer of metal and plastic products, to act as environmentally friendly as possible in our daily work.

The ROLEC block-unit power station

We invested in energy-efficient technology years ago, installing a block-unit power station at our company site in Rinteln. This block-unit generates power and heat simultaneously. The system has proven to be an ideal solution for satisfying the large demand for power and heat during the manufacture and processing of our enclosure and other products. The block-unit power plant saves us a significant amount of energy, thus providing a clear reduction in consumption costs.

Gas, water and environmental protection

The public utility companies in Rinteln meet their ecological obligations by actively promoting and implementing environment friendly technologies and consulting with their customers accordingly. One example of this is the Rinteln-Deckbergen solar park. The Rinteln public utility companies furthermore participate with other public utility companies in a green energy pool. The pool is assessed and awarded by the certification organisation TÜV NORD CERT. Moreover, they invest in certified emissions reductions projects all over the world – for sustainable protection of our planet. It’s not always about the price.

Recycling

In today’s world, optimising waste management is no longer just an urgent necessity, it is also a business success factor that should not be underestimated. It makes a sustainable contribution to efficient operational procedures and profitable cost structures.

For this reason, ROLEC relies on a specialist in water and recycling management: REMONDIS. The company has a diverse range of services that covers almost all areas. The focus is on the realization of closed material cycles. Because the processing of materials and their return to the economic cycle is the best way for a sustainable future from an economic and ecological point of view.

The sustainability certificate proves the special competence of REMONDIS. This was developed based on the eco-balance according to DIN EN ISO 14040 together with the independent institute ATZ. The certificate can be used to show the savings in primary raw materials, energy and greenhouse gas emissions achieved with the treatment of waste and residues. The entire service chain – from collection of the waste to transport, sorting and processing to recycling of the respective fractions – is included in the analysis. A partner who thinks like we do.
